Pune News : Bus Overturns Near Girawali on Bhimashankar-Kalyan road : No Casualties Reported
On 13th July, at around 9:30 am, a bus on the way to Bhimashankar to Kalyan, overturned on a road near Girawali.
As per information shared by Ayush Prasad, CEO, Pune Zilla Parishad, the police control room got a call at 9:30 am on 13th July that a bus has overturned near Girawali while going towards Bhimashankar Kalyan road. Five people were already helping the passengers to get out. Upon receiving the tip off, the police immediately rushed to the spot & ambulance was called on 108 number. 5 ambulances reached on the spot immediately.
No casualties have been reported. 2 passengers out of the 35 total passengers have suffered minor injuries. The 5 ambulances have taken all the people needing medical assistance to the nearest hospital.
The district administration, taluka officials and the police are on the spot & monitoring and coordinating relief. The police are investigating the cause of the overturn.
