Accident : Tempo Carrying LPG Cylinders Overturns Behind Kharadi Police Station - Pune pulse
A terrible incident took place when a tempo, carrying several gas cylinders, overturned near Mundhwa Jackwell, causing all cylinders to fall. No one was injured.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, Subash Jadhav, Station Duty Officer, Yerawada Police Station, said “A cylinder carrying tempo has overturned in front of Mundhwa Jackwell on Keshavnagar Road behind Kharadi Police Station. Such a call was given from Central Fire Station to Yerawada Fire Station at 9:55 am. Help from Yerawada Fire Station reached the spot within 15 to 20 minutes. When the help of the police force went to the place, it was found that the pick-up tempo, full of gas cylinders, had overturned at the place. On inspection, the gas cylinder tanks were lying in disorder. The fire brigade personnel and the employees of the gas company checked the said gas cylinder and ensured that there was no cylinder leakage.”

As per further information shared by Subhash Jadhav, it was found that there were 23 cylinders in the said tempo. It was found that no one was injured in the said accident.
The road was small at this place and the traffic came under control due to the help of the police and the fire brigade was able to organize the work. Control of 23 gas cylinders was taken immediately at the said place by the fire officers.
