Pune: The fee structure for the nursery and Junior KG batch of the 2024-25 academic year in a school has garnered criticism from internet users.
As per reports, a photograph displaying the high expenses involved in securing admission to the school, which has sparked intense discussions about the accessibility of quality education.
As per the information provided, the image displays a comprehensive breakdown of charges, encompassing entrance fees, educational expenses, and fees for additional activities. Nevertheless, the substantial amount of Rs 8,400 for the parental orientation session has ignited a discussion.
The image, shared on social media platform X, breaks down the comprehensive fee structure that includes admission fees, caution money, annual charges, development fees and the ‘parental orientation session’, revealing that parents have to pay a total amount of Rs 1,51,656 at the time of admission.
Netizens have raised doubts regarding the justification for exorbitant fees charged for nursery and Junior KG classes, and have voiced their apprehensions about the commercialization of education.
