An auto rickshaw carrying pre-primary school students collided with a speeding dumper at Chandni Chowk in Pune. Four to five school students were seriously injured in this accident. All these are children of MIT Pre School.
As per further information, after school, this rickshaw was taking students along the Mumbai-Bengaluru highway. At that time, the speeding rickshaw hit a dumper in the subway. The rickshaw driver lost control over his vehicle. Police rushed to the spot and shifted the students to the hospital.
All these are students of kindergarten section, as per reports.
Speaking to Pune Pulse, an Asian Hospital official said “3 children were admitted in Asian Hospital. One has been given discharge as only minor injuries happened. The condition of the other 2 students are serious. They have been shifted to Dinanath Mangeshkar Hospital for further treatment as one is suffering internal bleeding while the other has been severely injured.”
