Man arrested for harassing Korean Vlogger in Pune
Pune: Pimpri Chinchwad police arrested a man from Ravet area for allegedly harassing a Korean volgger visiting the city during Diwali period.
Acting swiftly after a video of a Korean vlogger went viral on social media on Tuesday, a team of Anti Gunda Squad of the Pimpri Chinchwad Police arrested the accused Bharat Karanrao Hunusnale.
In a viral video, the victim lady Korean vlogger carrying coconut in her hand was visiting city. In video, it was clearly observed that accused harassed her. Victim Lady in her video alleges that, ”They really like to Hug”.
The victim vlogger was visiting a fruit stall of Santosh Gilgile near Bhondve corner in Ravet.
Speaking about the incident, Assistant Police Inspector at Anti Gunda Unit told that, incident was reported three to four days before Diwali. However it was suddenly trending on social media platforms. Taking cognizance of it, we have formed a team and arrested the accused.
Considering our Athithi Devo Bhava tradition, it is necessary for all of us to treat our visitors with warm gestures. No such thing will be tolerated in our city.
