Rose County's Grand Fun Fair: A Heartwarming Success of Community Generosity
Rose County’s society in Pimple Saudagar came together for a grand celebration with a Fun Fair/Anand Mela on January 6th, 2024.
The event, open to all, drew numerous families and friends from various societies, creating a lively atmosphere.
Organized in a meticulous manner by the Cultural committee, the Anand Mela/Fun Fair boasted a diverse range of food and commercial stalls. A standout feature was “You eat, we Donate,” a charitable initiative by Mrs. Shweta Bohara. Her food stall’s earnings were dedicated to an old age home facing an urgent need for an ambulance, showcasing the community’s generosity.
Another noteworthy aspect was a stall run by the kids of ZEP rehabilitation center, dedicated to the welfare of children with special needs. The community actively supported this cause, with people purchasing a variety of items from the stall.The Joint Secretary of Rose County, Mr. Kulkarni, expressed satisfaction with the well-managed stalls, thoughtfully planned kids’ activities, and the overall substantial turnout of people.
He concluded by acknowledging the ladies’ cultural team for their meticulous planning and execution, deeming the event a fabulous success and setting a commendable benchmark for future gatherings in Rose County. Well done!
