Malls, parlours, restaurants and bars to remain shut on weekends in Pune
The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) Commissioner Vikram Kumar on Friday, June 19, 2021 issued fresh guidelines re-imposing restrictions making malls, dine in restaurants and non essential shops to remain closed on weekends.
In its order, PMC has instructed that all shops selling non essential items, food courts, malls, saloon, beauty parlours, spa, wellness center, bars, shall remain closed on weekends.
Further in its order PMC has also issued prohibitory orders restricting gathering of five or more people. Also, free movement of citizens without valid reason beyond 10 pm shall remain restricted.
The essential shops shall be allowed to remain open on all days till 7 pm.
Restaurants, bars and food courts will remain open on weekdays for dine in till 10 pm with 50 percent of total seating capacity, while they are allowed for only home delivery on Saturday and Sunday till 11 pm.
The order shall remain valid also in PMC jurisdictions in Pune Cantonment Board and Kirkee Cantonment Board too.
