Mumbai: On Sunday, a 13-year-old boy was charged with the alleged rape and pregnancy of his 15-year-old older sister. When the parents went to Vashi General Hospital to end their daughter’s three-month pregnancy, the hospital filed a medico legal complaint (MLC), and the police then booked the son.
The girl told the police in a statement that she became pregnant after watching porn with her younger brother. According to a police officer participating in the inquiry, they attempted to have sex for the first time in December of last year, but it was unsuccessful.
“But in the following month (January), the boy allegedly raped her even as she had asked him not to. The matter was finally disclosed to the mother after the victim missed her monthly cycle,” said the officer.
The Indian Penal Code’s sections 376 (rape) and 376(2)(n) (raping the same woman repeatedly) as well as sections 4, 6, 8, and 12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act were used to charge the kid. The boy’s case has been forwarded to the Khandeshwar police, and the Child Welfare Commission will determine the next steps.

According to the police, the young girl’s mother took her to a diagnostic institute in Delhi for an ultrasound on Saturday after she complained of a stomach ache. The police stated that it was confirmed here that the girl was 22 weeks pregnant.
