Another Terror Attack in Jammu: Ongoing Encounter, 6 Security Personnel Injured
J&K : A terrorist attack on the Army’s Temporary Operating Base (TOB) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district has left five army soldiers and one special police officer injured. The ambush, orchestrated by terrorists, resulted in a gunfight that led to the neutralization of one terrorist.
The attack took place at the Army’s Temporary Operating Base (TOB) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Doda district.
Five army soldiers and one special police officer were injured in the attack. One terrorist was neutralized during the ensuing gunfight. The injured were swiftly taken to SDH Bhaderwah for medical treatment.
Terrorist Group Claims Responsibility
– The Kashmir Tigers, a terror group, has claimed responsibility for the ambush attack on security forces.
– An encounter and search operation are currently underway to apprehend the remaining terrorists involved in the attack.
Official Statements
ADGP Anand Jain condemned the terror attacks, attributing them to hostile elements across the border. He emphasized the ongoing efforts to maintain peace and security in the region. Union Minister Jitendra Singh highlighted the recent surge in terrorist activities, citing the attack on a home in Kathua’s Saida Sukhal village as the latest incident.

– The attack in Doda district follows a string of terrorist incidents in the Jammu region, including attacks in Reasi and Kathua over the past three days.
– The attack in Kathua, which resulted in the death of a terrorist, occurred after terrorists fired at a home in the Hiranagar sector, near the International Border (IB).
– On June 9, terrorists targeted a bus carrying pilgrims in Reasi district, resulting in casualties and injuries. These terrorists are believed to be associated with previous attacks, including the assault on an Indian Air Force (IAF) convoy in Poonch on May 4.
