AAP holds protest outside Wanawadi Ramtekdi ward office
The members of the Aam Aadmi Party Wanowrie led a protest against the inaction of the Pune Municipal Corporation’s Wanawadi Ward office over the unauthorised hoardings in the area. In the last couple of days, the area saw huge banners put up to welcome several prominent personalities of various political parties.
Member of Aam Aadmi Party Wanawadi, Advocate Manoj Mane and Sarfaraz Shaikh said, “The entire looked very indecent wherein posters, banners, cut outs were raised in the area to welcome the party leaders. We feel that PMC should take necessary action against those who have defaced the area. There are several acts under which action can be taken.”
AAP members also raised other issues such as non functional composting machines and vegetable market at the Nala park on Salunke Vihar road and keeping footpaths free from encroachments.
