Now you can check the potability and TDS of your drinking water to ensure that it is safe for consumption.
Pune Municipal Corporation’s water supply department has taken an initiative where the citizens can avail the facility to test water.

Citizens can test tap water, aquapurified water, bore well water, packaged water to check its TDS level, potability and many other parameters.
Water sample testing and challan filing process :
Fill up the challan and pay the required fees. It can be paid at the Bank of Maharashtra in PMC headquarters. Challans can also be paid at the local ward office.
After paying the challan, deposit it at the Parvati water works.
After giving the sample, it shall be tested after five days.
Water sample testing lab : Parvati Water Works, Sinhagad road, Ganesh Mala, ahead of Ramkrishna Math, opposite Bhandari hotel, Pune – 30.
Water sample testing fees – Depends on the water sample
How to deposit water sample ? – Collect water sample in an empty drinking water bottle or collect in a sterilised bottle using hot water
Sample collection timing – 9.30 am – 12.30 pm
