The BAPS Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi, inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi last month, has opened to the public.

The temple has issued guidelines for visitors, including a dress code.

The guidelines suggest covering the area between the neck, elbow, and ankles, avoiding offensive designs, translucent or tight-fitting clothing, and clothing with distracting noises or reflections. Pets, outside food and drinks, and drones are strictly prohibited within the temple premises.

The wait is over! #AbuDhabiMandir is now open for all visitors and worshipers,” a post on X handle by the BAPS Hindu Mandir handle (@AbuDhabiMandir) said along with a video of the temple.

The temple, built by BAPS, is the first Hindu temple in Abu Dhabi, constructed in the Nagara style of architecture with sandstone and marble.
