Access ‘Scan Any QR Code’ directly from your Home Screen

Follow these simple tips for adding the UPI short cut to your home screen:

For Android:
1. Open Google Chrome:
Launch the Google Chrome browser on your Android device.

2. Visit Your Favorite UPI App Website:
Navigate to the official website of your preferred UPI payment app (e.g., Google Pay, PhonePe, etc.) using the Chrome browser.

3. Access Browser Settings:
Tap on the three vertical dots in the top-right corner of the Chrome browser to open the menu.

4. Select ‘Add to Home Screen’:
From the menu, choose the “Add to Home screen” option. This will create a shortcut icon on your home screen.

5. Name the Shortcut:
You can customize the name of the shortcut. Consider naming it something like “Scan QR” for quick identification.

6. Add to Home Screen:
Tap the “Add” button to confirm and add the shortcut to your home screen.

7. Locate the Shortcut:
Go to your home screen, and you’ll find the newly created shortcut icon for quick access.

8. One-Click UPI Payments:
Simply tap on the shortcut icon, and it will directly open the UPI payment app’s scan QR code feature, allowing you to make quick payments.

For iOS:
1. Open Safari:
Launch the Safari browser on your iPhone or iPad.

2. Visit UPI App Website:
Go to the official website of your preferred UPI payment app using the Safari browser.

3. Tap on Share Icon:
Tap on the share icon at the bottom of the screen (a square with an arrow pointing upward).

4. Choose ‘Add to Home Screen’:
From the share options, select “Add to Home Screen.”

5. Customize Shortcut Name:
Rename the shortcut if needed. Keep it short and relevant, such as “Scan QR.”

6. Add the Shortcut:
Tap “Add” in the top-right corner to add the shortcut to your home screen.

7. Access the Shortcut:
Navigate to your home screen to find the new shortcut icon.
