Lift malfunction causes panic in Noida housing complex

A terrifying incident unfolded at a Noida housing complex as the brakes of a lift failed, propelling it through the roof of the top floor. 

The malfunction, which occurred at the Paras Tierra Society in Sector 137, left three occupants injured, reigniting fears among residents already shaken by previous lift mishaps.

The malfunction, reminiscent of past incidents in the area, occurred despite recent legislation passed by the Uttar Pradesh government aimed at improving lift safety standards.
