AFMC Pune Hosts Workshop To Sharpen Health Policy Capabilities Of Policymakers And Researchers
The Health Technology Resource Centre at Dept of Community Medicine, Armed Forces Medical College, Pune conducted a workshop on Health Technology Assessmenton 05 November 2024,to sensitize the policymakers and researchers. Focus was to enhance their capacity to utilize economic evaluation and systematic review methodologies in crafting effective and efficient public policies. The participating delegates were Policy makers, Programme managers, National Public Health experts, clinicians, researchers and academia, faculty and budding public health specialists, from Armed Forces Medical College, Command Hospital (SC), AICTS and MH (Kirkee) Pune.
The participants gained insights into the Health Technology Assessment & exploring its critical role in both global and national healthcare systems.
Lt Gen Sandeep Thareja, SM, VSM**, Director and Commandant, AFMC was the chief patron for the event. Health Officials from Maharashtra State Government also attended the workshop.
