Pune: There have been agitations for the Maratha reservation in the state for the past few days. An agitation is going on under the leadership of Manoj Jarange for the demand that the Kunbi certificate should be given to the Maratha community immediately.

Meanwhile, the deadline given by Manoj Jarange to the state government to decide on the issue of reservation has expired on Tuesday. Jarange had given a warning to protest after the deadline was over.

As per further information, the 40-day period given to the government on October 24 has completed. After this, it was seen on Wednesday that the Maratha agitators became aggressive in the Chakan area of Pune.

Maratha Kranti Morcha activists stopped the bus of workers going to work in the Chakan industrial area. Also, the Maratha protesters appealed to the workers not to go to work. Buses of these workers were stopped at the Chandoli toll booth on Pune-Nashik Highway.

On behalf of Maratha Kranti Morcha, a one-day bandh was called at the Chakan Industrial area. Even so, buses were stopped at the Chandoli toll booth as the workers were going to work. At this time, it was seen that queues of vehicles were formed on the highway as the buses were stopped.
