Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar chaired a review meeting in Pune on Friday to assess preparations for the upcoming Ganeshotsav festival and discussed key infrastructure projects, including the Purandar International Airport and Sinhagad Road flyover.

Pawar assured citizens that Ganeshotsav 2025 will be celebrated with greater enthusiasm, supported by extensive planning and dedicated efforts from civic bodies. “Metro services will operate from 6 am to 2 am throughout the festival, with continuous service on the final day to ease travel for devotees visiting Manache Ganpatis,” Pawar said.

During the review of the Pune Grand Challenge Tour 2026, departments including PMC, PCMC, PWD, and city police provided updates on roadworks and traffic management plans. Pawar instructed officials to ensure high-quality, timely completion of projects to reduce congestion and improve connectivity.
