Allow house maids to get RTPCR test in nearest testing center
Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Prabhag President Rohan Gaikwad submitted a memorandum to Ashish Bharti (Chief , Health Department, PMC) regarding allowing the RTPCR test for maids & other house keeping staff to be held at the nearest Covid Test Centre.
He said, “As the PMC has announced RT PCR test is mandatory for maids and those visiting housing societies on regular basis, etc. Maids & other House keeping staff from NIBM, Undri & Mohammedwadi are finding it difficult to get their RT PCR test done, as there is no Covid Test Centre in the mentioned area. Maids and other house keeping staff have to travel to Satav Nagar, Hadapsar from NIBM, Undri & Mohammedwadi to do thier test which is very far for the maids working in the mentioned area.”
Rohan Gaikwad requested the PMC health chief to permit these maids and other house keeping staff to do their test at the nearest PMC centre.
