Allow vaccination centers in housing societies

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena’s activists recently met the PMC chief Ashish Bharti and requested them to allow vaccination centers being set up in the housing societies so that many people can benefit from the vaccination. They also presented a memorandum to look after the token system in Vilasrao Deshmukh sports complex covid testing center which is taking long period of the patients and further resulting in delay of their treatment.
Gaikwad further shared that the residents are having tough time at the testing facility as many have to wait for longer duration even after token is being issued.

‘”Today met Ashish Bharti, Chief Health Officer, PMC regarding Vaccination Centres at NIBM , Wanowari, Undri & Mohammedwadi area.
Also discussed the issue regarding the token system for Covid test at Wanowari centre. Ashish Bharti has assured immediate action regarding the same. Also have submitted a memorandum requesting to start “Vaccination Centre” at individual society level at NIBM and neighboring areas.

This will avoid over crowding at centres and the Vaccination can be given to more people. This will surely help to reach more residents in less time. We hope for a positive response from PMC, ” said Rohan Vilas Gaikwad,Prabhag President, MNS.
