Amid medical problems, BJP MLA Jagtap travels to cast his vote

It was initially planned to airlift the MLA of Chinchwad constituency but the sudden change in weather forced him to travel on road to reach Mantralaya.

Laxman Jagtap, BJP MLA from Pimpri Chinchwad, who has just been discharged from the hospital, has decided to travel to Mumbai to cast his vote in the legislative council elections.

Sources reveal that Jagtap expressed his willingness to travel even as the doctors recommended him to take rest as he was in the recuperating state, after battling severe illness.

Santosh Kalate, who is travelling with Jagtap said, “The decision to vote was taken by the MLA himself even after being told several times by Chandrakant Patil and Devendra Fadnavis to go by the doctor’s decision.”
