Amitabh Bachchan Talks About Walking the Roads of Struggle Before Reaching Stardom
In a recent episode of the popular quiz show, megastar Amitabh Bachchan has opened up about his early struggles on the way to stardom.
Megastar Amitabh Bachchan never had it easy in his early days in Bollywood as an aspiring star. In an episode of the popular quiz show KBC 16, an emotional Bachchan was seen opening up about his initial days of hardships. The renowned actor offered an honest insight into his journey to success, emphasizing that it was characterized not by opulence, but by unwavering perseverance and resolve.
“I also learned the roads by walking. It’s not like I’ve only travelled by car. You at least had a bag; I didn’t even have that. When I used to go job-hunting, I would get off at the station and walk everywhere on foot. So, I know where everything is and how to get there,” the actor said.
The actor’s disclosure followed a poignant account shared by contestant Nishant Jaiswal from Chhattisgarh, who is an artisan skilled in the delicate art of silk-making from cocoons and aspires to become an IPS officer. He recounted his experiences of attending the ground auditions for KBC multiple times without ever being selected.
Nishant reminisced about a particularly emotional moment when he made his way from Vile Parle station to Amitabh Bachchan’s residence with a small bag in hand, nurturing the dream of one day occupying the KBC hotseat. As he stood outside the legendary actor’s home, he offered a silent prayer, hoping, “This time, please ensure I receive a call for KBC.”
In a moment of reflection on the unpredictable nature of life, he remarked with a smile, “I never thought this house (Jalsa) would eventually belong to me!” This sincere exchange poignantly underscored the common themes of determination and aspiration, resonating deeply with the audience.
