These models are set to debut in 2025, and the video showcasing the Mahindra car has received widespread acclaim from online users.
The company’s inaugural electric vehicle, the BE 6e, will be offered to customers at an introductory ex-showroom price of ₹18.90 lakh. In Chennai, the estimated on-road price will be approximately ₹20.36 lakh. Meanwhile, the XEV 9e is priced at ₹21.90 lakh, with an anticipated on-road cost of around ₹23.59 lakh in Chennai.
The two SUVs are available with two battery choices: 59 kWh and 79 kWh. Both models are equipped for fast charging. The 59 kWh variant can be charged from 20 percent to 80 percent in only 20 minutes when using a 140 kW DC fast charger.
To secure a significant presence in the swiftly growing electric vehicle sector, Mahindra has thoughtfully positioned the pricing of its new electric SUVs to match that of the leading mid-range and premium internal combustion engine (ICE) SUVs in India. This strategy aims to attract cost-conscious buyers while offering an advanced array of features to compete with upcoming electric vehicle models, including Hyundai’s Creta EV.
Mahindra is in the process of updating its dealership network in key metropolitan areas in preparation for the launch of two new electric vehicles.
The Chairperson of M&M advised netizens to “attempt this only with supervision,” even though the car stunts may evoke an adrenaline rush among viewers.
