Entrepreneur and content creator Ankur Warikoo has sparked discussion online after sharing a conversation with ChatGPT that focused on a simple question: What habits should someone develop to become more successful than half the world’s population over the long term?

Instead of recommending complex strategies or quick success hacks, the AI outlined a set of practical habits that can be incorporated into everyday life. Warikoo later shared the exchange on Instagram, saying the response reinforced the idea that consistent actions matter far more than occasional bursts of motivation.

According to the AI’s response, success is rarely determined by a single breakthrough or extraordinary talent. Rather, it is the result of small, disciplined habits repeated over months and years.

One of the first recommendations was to wake up at the same time every day. Maintaining a regular sleep schedule helps create structure, improves energy levels and makes it easier to stay consistent with other daily routines.

The response also encouraged engaging in some form of physical activity every day, whether through walking, jogging, cycling, yoga or strength training. Regular exercise was highlighted as a way to improve both physical fitness and mental well-being while supporting long-term productivity.

Another key suggestion was dedicating two to four hours of distraction-free, focused work each day. Minimising interruptions and avoiding constant switching between tasks can significantly improve concentration and the quality of work.

ChatGPT also recommended spending 30 to 60 minutes learning something new every day. Reading books, taking online courses or developing new skills can gradually expand knowledge and create long-term professional advantages.

Beyond career growth, the advice emphasised maintaining a balanced diet, investing money regularly, reducing time spent on low-value distractions such as endless social media scrolling, and building meaningful relationships with family, friends and colleagues.

The AI further stressed the importance of getting at least seven hours of sleep every night, noting that proper rest supports memory, decision-making, focus and overall health, factors that make it easier to sustain positive habits over time.

Warikoo said the conversation highlighted a larger lesson: lasting success is built through consistency rather than dramatic efforts. While no single habit guarantees exceptional results, practising several positive habits every day can gradually lead to meaningful personal and professional growth.
