Annual Lexicon Leadership Conclave 2020 held in Pune

Lexicon Group of Institutes hosted its annual leadership conclave to curate different perspectives across domains on our post-pandemic growth. These narratives on the nation’s new normal growth story were shared by Ramnath Subramanium, Director, Maharashtra Metro Rail, Ranjan Kumar Sharma, DIG, CID, Crime, Pune, Kavita Dwivedi, Additional Commissioner & Additional CEO (Admin), Pune Metropolitan Region Development, Shashank Bhushan, India Head & VP, BMC Software, Nitin Chandel, Managing Director, BNY Mellon Technology, and Francis Padamadan, Senior Director (APAC) RPO & BPS Practices, Kelly Outsourcing & Consulting Group. A select audience of students, industry leaders, and impact makers attended the event, due to ensure social distancing norms and protocol, and it was moderated by Nasir Shaikh, Chief Executive Officer, Lexicon Management Institute of Leadership & Excellence (MILE).

Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari the chief guest for the annual conclave, also addressed the audience to highlight the resilience of our society and the optimism in the future of our country.

The conclave discussed how the resilience of our society was key in fighting the pandemic, and the success we have been able to see in overcoming various challenges across society, industry, and governance. “The swift and timely action by front lines warriors specially the Police and Medical staff by fighting against all the odds and saving themselves has contributed tremendously to reduce the impact of the pandemic by saving the people with timely medical help , helping them to reach their destination, providing security during journey and by maintaining law and order and by coordinating through different departments, agencies and NGOs” observed Ranjan Kumar Sharma, DIG, CID, Crime, Pune.

The close collaboration amongst all agencies, police, and administrators during the pandemic times was the focus of the topic discussed, and all of the panelists pointed out how the pandemic has helped us to drive innovation and self-discover ways to adapt to the uncertain situation of the pandemic presented. The business leaders on the panel were optimistic about the huge digital opportunity the new normal will provide, and all were witnessing signs of normalcy and opportunity in their respective organizations. Adding to this Ramnath Subramanium, Director, Maharashtra Metro Rail said, “While the pandemic has enabled us to lose sometime, we are now back 90% of resource capacity and reach full capacity by December end. The availability of labor and speed of growth is now coming back to pre-pandemic levels, and we are seeing great signs of coming back to normalcy. We are almost close to normalcy and are going full throttle to meet the revised timelines set”

The conclave discussed the importance of adaptability and innovation across the society and industry as we move towards realigning to the nation’s path for growth. Lexicon’s Bharat Leadership Awards capped off the conclave. The awards were bestowed at the hands of the Hon Governor of Maharashtra Bhagat Singh Koshyari to leaders for their contributions across governance, law and order, entertainment, culture and industry.
