PMPML begins its services on 12 new routes
In order to facilitate easy commuting of people around the industrial belt in Pune city and its outskirts, Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited on December 13, 2020 took an initiative by launching bus facility on 12 routes in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad. Today on December 13, 2020 the inauguration of these 12 routes took place which was conducted by the staff of PMPML at depot level. This is a unique feature PMPML has started from ATAL services wherein after inaugurating 9 routes by Chandrakant Patil for core City area. about 70 terminal station routes were innaugrated on Dusshera day similarly by our staff at depot level.
This is an initiative taken by the chairman and director of PMPML Dr Rajendra Jagtap to ensure that public transport is used by the citizens to curb traffic congestion as well as reduce air and sound pollution.
Lot of villagers welcomed these buses on respective routes.
