Pimpri Chinchwad Police collects massive fine against tainted glass users

Pimpri Chinchwad Police’ under their “Zero Tolerance” policy have been functioning swiftly as IPS Krishna Prakash is leaving no stone unturned in taking the violators of laws and rules in the city to the task.

The recent drive against the traffic rules violators, clutched a massive fine collection from the tented glass users in the four wheelers. According to the ACP Shrikant Disale, the Pimpri Chinchwad Police has recovered a fine of rupees 14, 31, 800 from 7175 violators for black window screen, tainted glass film.

The collected fine has been counted since 01/01/20 to 30/11/20. In 7, to the month of August, 2020, when IPS Krishna Prakash took over the charge as Commissioner, the Police department fined maximum 1133 violators.

While speaking with Pune Pulse, Disale said, “Honestly, we are planning for more strict actions in the coming days, if the people do not turn back from breaking the rules and violating the laws.”
