Apple’s New iPhone Accessory Looks Like a Sock and Costs Up to ₹20,000
Apple has long been recognized for its premium and eye-catching products. Whether it’s the latest iPhone, iPad, or a high-end MacBook, every Apple release tends to create buzz and excitement. Loyal customers often line up to purchase these devices, regardless of the high price tags.
This time, however, Apple has introduced something that has left many people both amused and puzzled. The tech giant has launched a pouch for iPhones that resembles a sock you wear on your feet. While the design is quirky, it’s the price that has really caught people’s attention.
Pricing Details
The new accessory comes in two versions:
1. Cross-body pouch: Priced at $229, which is approximately ₹20,000.
2. Short pouch: Priced at $149, roughly ₹13,000.
These sock-like pouches will be available for sale starting November 14. Initially, they will be sold in the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Singapore, and China. However, they are expected to arrive in the Indian market soon. For those eager to grab one earlier, pre-orders can be placed directly on apple.com.
Apple’s Vice President, Molly Anderson, praised the accessory, assuring that it keeps your iPhone completely safe. Despite that, social media users have been having fun at its expense. Some joked that while other companies are developing advanced AI tools, Apple is selling socks for phones. Others compared it to Apple’s past quirky products, saying: “First we had iPod Socks, then iPhone Pockets… next, maybe an iPad Blanket!”
