Pune | February 28, 2026: The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education, Pune, has issued instructions for the online submission of sports quota (sports marks concession) proposals for student-athletes appearing for the Class 10 (SSC) and Class 12 (HSC) examinations scheduled in February–March 2026.
As per the circular dated February 26, 2026, all proposals related to sports concessions for eligible students must be submitted only through the online system and not offline. In line with previous years and to ensure early declaration of results, proposals will be forwarded online by the District Sports Officer, Pune to the divisional board.
Online Portal and Deadline
The online system has been made available through the Aaple Sarkar portal of the Maharashtra government. Student applications will be accepted up to April 15, 2026.
Students, schools, and junior colleges must submit applications online along with all prescribed documents through the official system to the District Sports Officer, Pune. Detailed guidelines and procedures for submission are available in the User Manual provided on the portal. All applications will be scrutinised through the online process only.

Strict Compliance Required
Authorities have clarified that proposals without prescribed documents will be rejected. In such cases, it will be the responsibility of the concerned student, school, junior college, sports teachers, headmasters, and principals to rectify the deficiencies and resubmit the proposal online. Notifications regarding deficiencies will be communicated through the online system.
No proposals will be accepted offline after the deadline.
Issuing an appeal, District Sports Officer Jagannath Lakde urged all students, educational institutions, and sports departments to complete the process within the stipulated time limit to avoid disqualification.
