Ashok Waswani elected as President of Sindhu Seva Dal

Pune: Ashok Waswani has been elected as the president of Sindhu Seva Dal for the year 2022-2025. Immediate Past President Dr. Pitambar (Peter) Dalwani handed over the charge at a function recently held at Boat Club. The other office bearers elected include Purushottam Paryani – vice president, Sachin Talreja – secretary, Kiran Pherwani – joint secretary, Rajendra Pherwani -treasurer, Nilesh Pherwani, joint treasurer and Devendra Chawla as public relations officer.

Dr. Peter Dhalwani, Manohar Pherwani, Suresh Jethwani, Dipak Wadhwani, Vijay Daswani, Jay Pinjani, and Harish Pinjani – are all committee members. On this occasion, Sindhu Seva Dal launched Global Sindhi, a matrimony app supported by ANP Care Foundation with the hands of Dr. Ram Jawaharani. Ishwar Kriplani, Founder member of Sindhu Seva Dal, Developer Sunil Adwani, and Ghanshyam Sukhawani were present on the occasion.

Dr. Ram Jawaharani mentioned that the Sindhi language, culture, and tradition have a rich heritage. This has to preserve and pass on to the next generation. In the last 33 years, Sindhu Seva Dal has taken many efforts to gather the Sindhi community, and popularise the Sindhi language, culture, and tradition among the young generation. Along with family & business involvement of Sindhi people in social service is appreciable.”

Manohar Pherwani & Ishwar Kriplani were briefed and informed about the activities run by Sindhu Seva Dal. Suresh Jethwani compered the function, while Vijay Daswani gave the vote of thanks.
