Auto union to go on indefinite strike from December 30 in Pune and Pimpri Chinchwad

Autorickshaw Union under the guidance of Dr Keshav Nana Kshirsagar’s Baghtoy Rickshawala Sanghatana will go on indefinite strike in Pune as well as Pimpri Chinchwad city. The strike is supported by Maharashtra Rickshaw Panchayat, BJP Rickshaw Aghadi, Savkash Rickshaw Sanghatana, Aam Aadmi Rickshaw Sanghatana and other autorickshaw unions.

For the last three days, Baghtoy Rickshawala Sanghatana has been protesting against the injustice caused by the autorickshaw drivers by the finance companies and illegal operating of bike taxis. The administration has given the protestors space at the Jew community’s graveyard.

“The autodrivers in Pune as well as Pimpri Chinchwad shall reach the District Collector office at 11.30 am on December 30 and will go indefinite strike till the demands are met, ” said Dr Keshav Kshirsagar, from the Baghtoy Rickshawala Sanghatana.
