Autorickshaw collides with truck in Vishakhapatnam; Eight students injured

Pune:Â On Wednesday, a tragic incident occurred in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh, where a group of eight children sustained injuries when the autorickshaw they were riding in collided with a truck. The distressing accident was recorded by a surveillance camera installed at a nearby store.
As per the information provided, around 7 am, while enroute to Bethany School, the children encountered the unfortunate incident. The CCTV footage, lasting 35 seconds, depicts a relatively smooth flow of traffic at the Sangam Sarat Theatre junction. At precisely 7.35 am, a truck proceeds towards the intersection beneath a flyover and is struck by a speeding auto approaching from the left.
As per the information received, numerous bicycles and vehicles came to a halt, and individuals rush to provide assistance to the injured. Observers witness people attempting to shift the flipped vehicle in order to rescue those trapped beneath it.
Among the group of eight school children, four have been released from the hospital, while three are currently receiving medical treatment.
