Awareness programme on single use plastic to be held on Oct 11

Grand event to aware people on ‘Single use plastic’ is organized  by TERRE policy centre.

TERRE policy centre- a Pune based international organisation working for environment conservation,  is organising an event titled ‘Single-Use Plastic Free Campus’ to create awareness about ‘Single-Use Plastic’. Organization will felicitate two environment heroes (green warriors)-TATA Motors and Sonali Deshpande (Chairperson, Persistent foundation)for their remarkable work in developing ‘Oxygen Parks’ in the middle of the cities.

Dr Vinitaa Apte, Founder Director ,TERRE informed about the event through a press release. The occasion will be dignified by the presence of H.E. Hans Jacob Frydenlund- Norwegian Ambassador, Erik Solheim- Former Under-Secretary-General of the United Nations & Former Executive Director of UN Environment, Arne Jan Flølo- Consul General in Mumbai, Dr. Rajendra Shende, President, TERRE Policy Centre and Dr. Ravindrasinh Pardeshi,Principal, Fergusson College. 

The dignitaries will be speaking on the threat of climate change and what the world is taking actions.
