Former Bigg Boss OTT 3 contestant Payal Malik has announced her decision to divorce ‘Armaan Malik’.
Citing the relentless hate directed towards her and her children. In a recent vlog, Payal expressed her frustration and discontent with the situation, stating, “I am done with the drama and the hate. As long as it was about me, I was okay, but now the hate is coming to my kids. This is so shocking and disgusting. I have decided to part ways with Armaan for the same reason. He can stay with Kritika while I’ll take care of the kids.”
Payal, who was eliminated from Bigg Boss OTT 3 weeks ago, elaborated on the impact of public disdain for their polygamous relationship. She mentioned that her children were now being targeted, which she found intolerable. “I know Golu won’t stay without Zaid, so probably she can keep him and I’ll leave with my three kids,” she said, adding that the situation was “pissing me off like anything.”
Reflecting on her past experiences, Payal admitted that dealing with Armaan’s second marriage was challenging. “The experience I had faced in my life has been very bad because if anyone else had been in my place, she would not have accepted it. But I accepted it because my circumstances were bad. I left Armaan for 1.25 years, but due to some circumstances, we had to accept it and live happily together.”
She also addressed the difficulty of handling public criticism and trolling. “We have an experience of handling trolling. We have been using YouTube and Instagram for four years. We faced trolling and very harsh comments in the first year, but later on, people started recognizing us, so they thought that we were not like that. Now trolling does not have that much effect on our lives.”
Payal concluded by emphasizing the need to protect her children from the negative fallout of their situation, reiterating that her decision to leave Armaan was final.
