Pune: Banks throughout India will experience an extended period of closure in the upcoming month, in accordance with the annual bank holiday list issued by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). 

The list of bank holidays in November 2023 reveals that Indian banks will be closed for up to 15 days, coinciding with various national and regional celebrations. These holidays encompass a diverse range of festivities, including Diwali, Bhaidooj, Laxmi Puja, and several others.

Bank Holidays in November 2023 will align with events such as Diwali, Bhaidooj, Wangala Festival, Laxmi Puja, Chhath, and Karva Chauth, among others. It is worth noting that these holidays may not be uniformly observed across all states and regions, as some are specific to certain areas.

November 1: Celebration of Kannada Rajyothsava/Kut/Karva Chauth

November 10: Wangala Festival

November 13: Observance of Govardhan Pooja/Laxmi Puja (Deepawali)/Diwali

November 14: Diwali (Bali Pratipada)/Deepavali/Vikram Samvant New Year Day/Laxmi Puja

November 15: Bhaidooj/Chitragupt Jayanti/Laxmi Puja (Deepawali)/Ningol Chakkouba/Bhratridwitiya

November 20: Chhath (Morning Arghya)

November 23: Seng Kutsnem/Egaas-Bagwaal

November 27: Guru Nanak Jayanti/Karthika Purnima/Rahas Purnima

November 30: Kanakadasa Jayanthi

In addition, banks will be closed on weekends, including the second and fourth Saturdays, as well as Sundays:
