Bharat Gaurav Tourist Trains organized by IRCTC takes you on an extraordinary spiritual journey that unites India and enriches its traditions.  The itinerary of Bharat Gaurav train has been designed with a profound vision to spread the teachings of Lord Rama and promote the values of Truth, Love, Compassion.          

To facilitate this spiritual journey, IRCTC has organized specially designed trains “Ram Katha Yatra” which left from Hazrat Nizamuddin on 22nd July carrying a total of 1008 pilgrims covering 11000 kms along 9 states which will cover Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Uttarakhand etc. and will provide devotees with three holy dhams and Tirupati Balaji with prestigious 12 Jyotirlinga temples including Kashi Vishwanath, Mahakaleshwar, Mallikarjuna, Bhimashankar, Baidyanath Dham, Omkareshwar etc.  will take you on an unprecedented journey to visit the temple.

Pujya Shri Morari Bapu arrived at Pune on August 01 and along with co-travellers reached the holy Jyotirling Shri Bhimashankar where Shri Ram Katha has been organized. Pujya Shri Morari Bapu will go to Nashik from Pune on August 2 and visit the holy Jyotirling Shri Trimbakeshwar.

Ram Katha preacher Pujya Shri Morari Bapu, whose discourses have inspired the hearts of millions over the years and touch the souls of the listeners through the narration of Ram Charit Manas. He is preacher of Ram Charit Manas and conducted more than 900 programmes in last 60 years free of cost. He says Ramcharitmanas is for the welfare and development of every living being.  Bapu spreads awareness about the essentials of life, which attracts the interest of many youngsters who are attracted to participate in the Katha.  Bapu further says that people should come out of the mental distress of jealousy, backbiting, criticism and malice.  Bapu ji also supports environmental issues.  He believes in ‘flowing tradition’ ( Pravahi Parampara ) and has been speaking for progressive norms in the 21st century.

Bapu’s basic message is to encourage awareness about Truth-Love-Compassion.  The purpose of this yatra is not only to commemorate the timeless wisdom of Ram Katha but also to promote unity and collective understanding of the eternal guiding principles.  During the Bharat Gaurav train journey, passengers are getting blessings of Katha in the discourse of Pujya Shri Morari Bapu.

The trains are decorated with attractive and beautiful vinyl wrappings depicting Jyotirlingas, Temples, Dhams and Tirupati Balaji Temple and Pujya Morari Bapuji beautifully depicting the spiritual essence of the journey.
      The importance of this pilgrimage during the holy month of Sawan adds to the spiritual experience, making it a remarkable achievement for all travellers.  Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train is a reminder of the glory of the quintessential essence of Lord Shri Ram.  It is a testimony to the rich spiritual heritage of India which adds unity, cultural harmony among the people.  The journey will conclude on 09 August 2023 at Delhi.
