BJP Announces Panel Under Shatrughna Kate’s Leadership in Rahatani–Pimple Saudagar

Pimple Saudagar: Ahead of the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation General Elections 2026, the Bharatiya Janata Party has fielded a strong and experienced panel from Ward No. 28, Rahatani–Pimple Saudagar, under the leadership of Shatrughna (Bapu) Kate. Under the banner of “Mission PCMC,” the panel has declared its resolve to contest the election on issues of comprehensive ward development.
The official BJP panel includes Shatrughna (Bapu) Kate, Anita Kate, Kunda Bhise, and Sandesh Kate. The candidates have intensified their campaign by highlighting people-centric decisions taken by the BJP governments at the state and central levels, along with the development work carried out during the party’s tenure in the municipal corporation.
While filing his nomination, Shatrughna Kate expressed gratitude to the residents of the ward for their continued trust and support. He said that the panel is firmly committed to the development of the ward, backed by experience, transparent work, and a strong connect with citizens. He added that this election is not merely a political contest but a fight to uphold the trust built with the people over the years.
Emphasising key civic issues such as infrastructure, sanitation, traffic management, water supply, and basic public amenities, Kate expressed confidence that all four BJP candidates from Ward 28 would secure a decisive victory.
“Our firm promise is to deliver transparent, people-oriented, and development-driven governance while honouring the trust of every citizen in the ward. With active public participation, we will work tirelessly to ensure all-round development and take Rahatani–Pimple Saudagar to new heights of progress. Development of the last citizen remains our core commitment,”
said Shatrughna Kate, candidate and BJP city president from Ward 28.
