BJP MP Girish Bapat passes away at 72 in Pune 

Pune: Bharatiya Janata Party Member of Parliament Girish Bapat passed away on March 29 at the Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital at the age of 72. Due to deteriorating health condition he was shifted to the hospital’s ICU, where he was put on life support. 

Girish Bapat was a popular politician and had served as a Member of Parliament from Pune for many years. He had actively participated in various social and political activities and had contributed significantly to the development of the city.

Bapat had played a crucial role in guiding the workers during the recent Kasba Assembly elections. Even when his health was deteriorating, he had visited the Kasba office to meet his workers, which had left the activists happy. 

The news of Girish Bapat’s passing away has come as a shock to his supporters and political leaders from across all parties.
