Party president JP Nadda moved the resolution, which was unanimously passed in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The resolution not only celebrated the successful consecration of the temple, recognized as a national festival but also linked the concept of ‘Ram Rajya’ to Mahatma Gandhi, who considered it the embodiment of true democracy. President Nadda congratulated PM Modi for realizing the dream of every Indian and bringing Ram Lalla back ‘home’.

The BJP, since its inception, has been committed to the construction of a grand temple at the birthplace of Lord Ram.

The resolution emphasized that the Constitution, dedicated to democratic values and justice, draws inspiration from the ideals of ‘Ram Rajya.’ It pointed out that even the original copy of the Indian Constitution features a depiction of Lord Shri Ram, Mother Sita, and Lakshman after their victorious return to Ayodhya.

The resolution credited PM Modi for playing a decisive role in fulfilling the resolutions related to building a developed India.

It noted that the temple of Lord Shri Ram has become a symbol of India’s vision, philosophy, and path, representing a temple of national consciousness.

While acknowledging the Supreme Court’s clearance for the temple construction, the resolution commended PM Modi for expediting the work to ensure its timely completion.

It highlighted the formation of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra by the Central government, facilitating the rapid progress of the construction, culminating in the consecration of the idol of Ram Lalla on January 22, 2024.

The resolution described January 22 as a day of aspiration and accomplishment for millions of Ram devotees, marking the renaissance of India’s spiritual consciousness and the beginning of the journey back to a great India.
