Boy Rescued After Getting Trapped RMC Truck In Undri; Locals Act Swiftly
Pune, April 6, 2026: A boy was rescued after getting trapped under a cement truck at Hole vasti in Undri, triggering panic at the scene. Local residents immediately rushed to help and made several attempts to free him.
The incident took place on Saturday afternoon April 4, 2026.
After sustained efforts, the locals arranged for a jack and carefully lifted the heavy vehicle, successfully pulling the boy out from underneath. The timely action of the bystanders is believed to have prevented a serious tragedy. Though the biker received minor injuries the incident highlights the importance of safe driving.
The residents of the area have been highlighting the importance of restricted driving of such heavy vehicles especially during school timings.
The incident highlights the area’s narrow roads and encroachments which have been neglected by the Pune Municipal Corporation for many years now.
The Kalepadal Police officials informed that the staff reached the spot and sent the boy for further medical attention.
