Bramha Aangan gets a new transformer installed

Residents of Bramha Aangan are a relieved lot now as their persistent efforts have got them two new transformers.

Speaking to Pune Pulse, Pratik Batra, chairman, Bramha Aangan said, “We are thankful to Nanda Lonkar, who has been very supportive about the transformer installation and has stood with us till the installation took place. She ensured that the installation was done on priority basis as the residents were in great trouble due to constant power cuts and fluctuations in voltage. The installation was a tedious process as the tree was standing in the way. She ensured that the tree was trimmed properly and so, the installation of the transformer was completed.”

Nanda Lonkar, former corporator, NIBM road said, “The residents approached me with their complaints regarding frequent power cuts and fluctuations in voltage. I followed up continuously with the MSEDCL authorities regarding the installation of two transformers near Bramha Aangan commercial complex and it has borne fruit.”

Bharat Pawar, Public Relations Department, MSEDCL said, “We have been demanding for adequate space at the society but the society has not been co-operating well. There are issues between two societies.”

Lonkar further stated that out of three at this moment one transformer has been replaced. Two shall be replaced by the end of October.
