Breaking News: Bomb Found Near NDA In Pune, BDDS Acts Promptly

Pune , 11 May 2024 – A bomb was discovered in the neighbourhood of the National Defence Academy (NDA) on Saturday spreading panic in the area. As per the information, the construction workers found this explosive during a site excavation. The Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad (BDDS) reached the spot quickly.

Right now, the device has been neutralized and removed, and the BDDS team has urged the public not to fear. The news that the bomb was safely defused brought a sense of comfort to the citizens living nearby. In the Shivane NDA Road, According to reports bomb was found near Kamaljai Mandir where excavation is underway in preparation for the bridge’s construction and there a bomb was discovered by some labourers who were working.

The worker promptly reported the incident to the police, who arrived on the scene shortly after, accompanied by the BDDS team. The incident has raised questions on how the bomb has reached the premises. Given that the NDA is close by, there are speculations that the bomb may have been dropped during a practice some time ago.
