In a decisive response to unprovoked cross-border firing, the Border Security Force (BSF) has confirmed the destruction of a terrorist launch pad in Pakistan’s Sialkot district, near the Looni area opposite Jammu’s Akhnoor sector.

The ceasefire violation began around 9 pm on Friday, when Pakistan Rangers reportedly opened fire without provocation on BSF posts in the Jammu sector. In retaliation, Indian forces launched a targeted operation early Saturday, successfully neutralizing the launch pad suspected of being used to facilitate infiltration attempts.

Visuals released by the BSF show plumes of smoke rising from the site in Looni, clearly indicating the extent of the damage. “The terrorist launch pad was completely destroyed,” the BSF stated, reaffirming its commitment to safeguarding the border and eliminating threats originating from across the boundary.

This latest action reflects heightened tensions along the International Border, as Indian forces remain on high alert amid continued hostilities. The BSF’s swift and strategic retaliation sends a strong message against any cross-border aggression, underscoring India’s resolve to maintain territorial integrity.
