Bus service to Pune Airport to begin soon
Pune Mahanagar Parivahan Mahamandal Limited (PMPML) is all set to introduce air conditioned buses to the Pune Airport in Lohegaon. These buses will ply on five main routes in the city.
Dr Rajendra Jagtap, managing director, PMPML told Pune Pulse that a total of 43 e buses shall begin their services. Areas such as Kothrud, Hadapsar, Hinjewadi, Swargate and Nigdi are the places on which the buses will run.
Since the airport has less space and in flow of private vehicles is more, a demand was raised by the Pune Airport Authority officials urging to have bus facility.
