Big changes are happening for students in classes 10th and 12th under the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). They will now have to study more subjects starting next year. These changes are meant to make things harder for both teachers and students, causing more stress.

As part of the New Education Policy (NEP), students in classes 10th and 12th will now have to deal with a total of 10 subjects. The Board will let students know about this by sending official notices to their schools.

Teachers will need to finish teaching each set of subjects in a certain amount of time, and students will also have deadlines to finish their studies. Instead of giving marks, students will now get grades under the new policy. Additionally, students in class 10 will have to study three languages instead of two, and in classes 11th and 12th, they’ll study two languages instead of just one.

A student from class 11 expressed concerns, saying, “We have to handle all these subjects along with getting ready for entrance exams. It’s going to put a lot of pressure on us, mentally and physically.”

Before, students had to study five subjects, but now they’ll have to handle 10. The new subjects will cover topics like math, computers, science, social studies, art, physical education, job-oriented education, and environmental studies. These changes have left students, parents, and teachers feeling more stressed out.
