In this cat show, Puneites will get to see cats of different species from different countries.

Also, various types of information will be available under one roof for cat lovers,” Saqib Pathan, president of The Feline Club of India, said at a press conference.

Dr Bikash Mohanty (Marketing Manager, Orange Pet Nutrition) addressed a press conference held at Pune Shramik Patrakar Sangh. Saloni Joshi (cat specialist, Possum Vet Clinic) etc. were present.

Speaking further, Pathan mentioned that the Feline Club of India organizes the ‘Championship Cat Show’ in various cities across India. The upcoming show in Pune is scheduled to take place on Sunday, November 5, 2023, at Tulsi Villa, Lonkar Ali, Magarpatta, Mundhwa, starting at 10 a.m.

The show has been traditionally held at 7 p.m., but this time it has been rescheduled to the morning. It is anticipated that more than 300 cats will participate in the event. Throughout the day, the show will offer a wide range of activities.

Attendees will have access to information on grooming, adaptation, and registration.

Additionally, there will be stalls featuring cat food and other related materials. During the ‘Championship Cat Show’, the winning cat will be selected based on internationally established criteria. These criteria take into account the cat’s species, weight, growth and overall health.

It is essential to assess whether your cat meets these standards and if you are providing proper care for her. The judging of the championship cat show will be conducted by Michael Woods from Australia and Bradley Foud from Indonesia.
