Charholi’s Long Island society sets up Isolation facility for Covid19 patients

Long Island society located in Charholi on May 9, 2021 started an isolation facility for Covid19 patients from the society.

The facility set up by the society residents was inaugurated by MLA Mahesh Landage. The inaugural ceremony of the isolation facility established at the community center of 700 units society, Pride World city saw presence of former mayor of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation Nitin Kalje, Chikhali Moshi Charholi Housing Society’s chairman Sanjeevan Sangale, society chairman Atul Singh Rathod, secretary Krishna Tripathi, Ex Servicemen Society’s state secretary Deepak Patil and Dr Ajit Sathe, who will look after the patients and society members.

At present, a facility of six beds has been established in the society, wherein 6 normal beds and two beds will have oxygen facility. 

Secretary of the society, Krishna Tripathi told Pune Pulse that the facility was started as per the new government guidelines which were issued recently. Soon, oxygen facility shall also be added to the facility. He said, “This facility has been funded by the citizens of the society.”
