Pune: The Pimpri Chinchwad Traffic Police have announced parking & traffic routes for spectators to reach Gahunje stadium & park their vehicles in a hassle-free manner on November 8 (England vs Netherlands match) & on November 11 (Australia vs Bangladesh match).

As per information from Pimpri Chinchwad Traffic Police, under the World Cup Cricket Tournament 2023 on 08/11/2023 and 11/11/2023, the parking arrangements and routes of the four-wheeler and two-wheeler vehicles of the spectators coming to watch England vs. Netherlands and Australia vs. Bangladesh matches are fixed as follows:

· Route for spectator vehicles coming from Mumbai

a) Take a left turn from the Dehu Road exit of the Expressway and then immediately take a left turn and follow the road leading to the stadium and parking lot along the service road adjacent to the express highway at Mamurdi Village.

b) Vehicles coming from the Expressway should take a U-turn from Kiwale Bridge at Mukai Chowk and take the Krishna Chowk Marg expressway along the service road adjacent to Symbiosis College to the stadium and parking lot.

c) On old Mumbai Pune Highway, entry of spectator vehicles is being banned from Shitladevi Mandir to Mamurdi Village from Underpass and road near Mamurdi Jakat Naka on Bangalore Highway via Somatne Phata, Central Chowk.

Alternative Route: Vehicles on the said route can take a left turn from Shitladevi Mandir to Lekha Farm. Follow the service road leading to the stadium and the parking lot.

· Route for spectator vehicles coming from Pune

a) From Pune Bangalore Highway, passing Pawana River Bridge, Hotel Santonsa, the vehicles should take a slow left turn from Kiwale Bridge and from 200 meters, take the service road on the left side of the dual carriageway to the stadium and parking lot.

b) Spectator vehicles coming from Nigdi, Hanging Bridge, via Ravet Chowk, Bhondve Chowk, Mukai Chowk, take a right turn from Krishna Chowk and take a left turn from the express highway to the service road to the stadium and parking lot.

· The old Mumbai Pune highway from Gahunje Stadium via Sainath Nagar will be used as a one-way traffic only. Access to the stadium via Sainath Nagar is being banned.

Note:

All types of vehicles will be banned from Central Chowk – Kanetkar Bangla Chowk via Sainagar.
