Following its theatrical run, Chhaava is set to stream on Netflix, as per a report by OTTPlay. However, an official release date has not been confirmed. Based on recent trends, films typically transition to digital platforms within 45 to 60 days of their theatrical release.
For instance, Pushpa 2, which hit theaters on December 5, 2024, premiered on Netflix 56 days later, on January 30, 2025. Similarly, Stree 2, released in theaters on August 15, 2024, became available for rental on Prime Video on September 27, followed by free streaming for subscribers on October 10.
Box Office Performance
With an estimated budget of ₹130 crore, Chhaava is making waves at the box office. The film opened to an impressive ₹31 crore, marking Vicky Kaushal’s highest opening to date and the biggest Bollywood debut of 2025 so far. According to a Sacnilk report, Chhaava has amassed ₹65 crore within two days and is expected to cross ₹100 crore by the end of its first weekend.
