To popularize this art we organized ‘Bonsai Namaste’ the largest exhibition of Bonsai plants in Pune. India has about 1500 species of trees of which Bonsai can be made so we have developed a certificate course to learn this art and thus create some employment opportunities. The certificate course is in the last stages of development and shall be commenced soon. This course can provide new opportunities to nurseries and rural women that are connected with agriculture.”, she said.
