Clashes in Kolhapur over social media post; Internet services snapped

Kolhapur: Internet services were disrupted in Kolhapur after a clash erupted between two groups over a controversial social media post on Aurangzeb. Police had to resort to lathi charge to bring the situation under control.
Acknowledging the situation, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde emphasized that maintaining law and order in the state is the government’s responsibility. He appealed to the public for peace and calm, assuring that a thorough police investigation is underway. Shinde further stated that appropriate action will be taken against those found guilty.
The clash and subsequent disruption of internet services have raised concerns about public safety and the need for a swift resolution. Authorities are working diligently to restore normalcy.
